Texas-Sized Christmas

The University of Texas at Dallas Student Government is joining Texas-Sized Christmas, a statewide initiative led by For the Students at The University of Houston. As cases of COVID-19 soar throughout the state, many individuals are losing jobs in rates never seen before. As a result, many families and students will not have the means to provide food for the holidays. Eight universities across Texas are hoping to collectively combat this by launching a variety of grassroots campaigns to raise money for local food banks.

As part of Team Dallas, we are encouraging members of the Dallas and Comet Community to donate to the North Texas Food Bank, Minnie’s Food Pantry, and the Comet Cupboard here on campus.
