In a world full of chaos and calamity we can always count on hope and the goodwill of others in times of desperate need. GLEMBA 2019 and Obra del Padre Mario are very excited about the work we are accomplishing to restore a dining hall and provide internet access to thousands of students.This is what makes the UT Dallas community great in the collective contributions of our time, energy and donations that make us stronger together. Through this effort, we have learned that when we all work together and give a little we make a significant impact on global problems. We can all be proud we contributed to changing the lives of many by sharing our compassion and empathy in donating and spreading awareness of reducing child labor around the world. We are excited to announce we have raised over $3400 towards our volunteer trip in Buenos Aires! Please see the attached pictures of the dining hall we are restoring that feeds around 200 small children a day. We only have 3 days left to raise the funds needed to reach our goal of $8500.
