Background

Dr. Shawn Carraher, clinical professor in the Naveen Jindal School of Management, encourages all of his students to prepare and submit research papers to prestigious conferences, including the CAMOT International Conference held at the University of Cambridge in England, the Global Conference of Business & Economics at the University of Oxford, and the International Journal of Arts & Sciences conference at Harvard University. Many of his students have become successful professionals because they have presented their research at well-known conferences. Students who present their papers on international stages help our University’s name be known around the world and show that we have excellent students who are dedicated and hardworking. This also is a very positive step for the students toward differentiating themselves in the marketplace.

Who we are

We are a group of students from Dr. Carraher’s class in the Naveen Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas. We are launching this project as a class to support our fellow students who have shown initiative and drive in accomplishing their goals, and have written quality papers accepted by Oxford and Cambridge.

This year, we are sponsoring two students to go to the Oxford and Harvard Conferences.

What your contribution will do

All donations will help Kevin and Garrett go to the conference and present their papers. We estimate their individual costs to be:

Airfare: $1800

Hotel: $450

Meals: $250

Opportunity to travel and present their hard work to scholars from all over the world: priceless
