UT Dallas students know that preparation for college doesn’t start the day before classes begin. Their preparation started much, much earlier — arguably, from the day they were born. Brain connections formed in the early years help lay the groundwork for a child’s future success. With 90 percent of brain development occurring by age 5, fostering those connections is critically important.
The Center for Children and Families at UT Dallas works with young children and their parents to promote optimal development and future success. The center’s Juega Conmigo (Play With Me) playful learning program targets children ages 0-3 in multiple high-need communities to promote healthy parent-child relationships and strong foundations for learning. The Crece Conmigo (Grow With Me) developmental screening program identifies children with delays early, providing time to access assistance and start school on the right track.
Help at-risk children in North Texas achieve their optimal development and success by making a gift today. Together, you and UT Dallas will help today’s youth prepare for future success.
