Lab participation in the exhibition “Animation as Art: A Multisensory Exhibition”

On March 23, 2024, the exhibition “Animation as Art: A Multisensory Experience” opens at the Texas Tech Museum in Lubbock, Texas. The show is curated by Drs. Jorgelina Orfila (TTU), Francisco Ortega (TTU) and Christine Veras (UTD).

The exhibition features creations from 30+ international animators and artists, providing the public with a chance to experience animation as a unique artistic experiment that blends science and magic, the tangible and digital, art, crafts and technology.

During the past year, UTD students have been developing unique artworks with themes related to Texas specifically for this exhibition.

More information about their work can be accessed here.
