Support Women Pursuing Law at UT Dallas! 

Women Pursuing Law (WPL) at The University of Texas at Dallas is a student-led organization dedicated to empowering women and underrepresented students pursuing careers in law.

Through mentorship, professional development and networking opportunities, we strive to bridge the gap in legal education and career advancement. Our members are passionate about breaking barriers in the legal field and uplifting one another on the path to success.

Why This Matters

The legal profession continues to be an industry where women and minorities face significant barriers. WPL provides the tools, connections and resources necessary to help our members succeed in law school and beyond.

Our Fundraising Goal: $1,000

Reaching this goal will allow us to expand our programming, host impactful events and create meaningful opportunities for our members.

How Your Donations Will Be Used

Your contribution will directly support:

• Exclusive Member Events (30%): Coffee Chats with legal professionals, LSAT study circles and other member-only events designed to provide targeted mentorship and skill development.
• General Body Meetings (40%): Engaging, high-volume meetings featuring guest speakers, career panels and interactive discussions to prepare our members for law school and beyond.
• Merch & Marketing (30%): Branded materials to foster community engagement, increase outreach and create a strong presence on campus.

Stretch Goals & Additional Impact

If we exceed our $1,000 goal, additional funds will allow us to:

• Organize a law firm visit or courthouse tour: Provide members with firsthand exposure to the legal profession by arranging a visit to a law firm, courthouse or government office.
• Hold a law school application lottery: Cover the cost of one law school application for a selected WPL member, easing the financial burden of the admissions process.
• Host community philanthropy events: Give back to the community through service projects, legal education workshops or pro bono initiatives, reinforcing our commitment to making a positive impact beyond our organization.
