Help raise money for the International Student Emergency Fund!
The UT Dallas International Student Emergency Fund (UTDISEF) provides urgent financial support to international students whose education is at risk due to unexpected crises.
Created in 2020 by UT Dallas alumni, the fund helps students facing medical emergencies, natural disasters, political unrest, food insecurity, housing instability or urgent immigration expenses. During the 2024–25 academic year, UTDISEF awarded over $40,000 in direct support to students in need.
International students often have limited income options and little family support nearby, and a single financial setback — such as a USCIS fee or emergency travel — can jeopardize their enrollment and immigration status. UTDISEF bridges that gap, keeping students enrolled and focused on completing their degrees.
Our 2025–26 fundraising goal is $8,000, which will allow us to continue covering critical expenses like immigration filing fees, emergency relief and essential living costs. Every gift has an immediate impact, helping students overcome hardship, persist in their studies and contribute to the UT Dallas community.
