Help the APO fraternity reach their goal!

We are Alpha Phi Omega, the largest gender-inclusive collegiate service fraternity in the United States, with over 525,000 members on 375+ campuses nationwide. Our ImpactUTD project aims to raise $2,500 to send our chapter representatives to the APO National Convention, a gathering where members from across the county come together to attend leadership and service workshops, collaborate with other chapters and bring back innovative ideas to strengthen their local communities. Nationals is a rare opportunity for our chapter to learn directly from the most impactful leaders in APO and apply those lessons to enhance our UTD service events. The project will help cover travel, lodging and registration costs so our chapter can proudly participate and grow through this national experience. Achieving our fundraising goal of $2,500 will allow our members to learn invaluable skills from other APO chapters that they can bring back to us at UTD and help the whole chapter improve in leadership, friendship; and service. The funds will be utilized for our members’ travel expenses, lodging and conference registration fees for each attending member.

Our chapter is passionate about growing and improving so we can make a bigger impact at UT Dallas and in our community. If we exceed our $2,500 goal, additional donation money will go towards our service events and fund future development events on campus after nationals to share what we’ve learned with the entire APO Chapter.

This project will empower our members to become leaders and bring back new service and leadership strategies, strengthen our chapter’s programs, benefit current and future members, expand the positive impact APO has on UTD and the wider community and reinforce our strong network between our chapters and APO chapters worldwide.

Our chapter is relatively small compared to lots of others around the country and world. Receiving any sort of funding for the advancement of our chapter operations and large service events would be extremely impactful. The funding being provided goes right back to the community and our chapter members to allow them to be the best possible versions of themselves and to serve the community with the best resources possible.
