Support Film and Media Production at UT Dallas

Film has been part of UT Dallas for many years through our Film Studies program, which explores global cinema, encourages critical analysis, and examines the cultural impact of film. With the launch of Film and Media Production, we are expanding that foundation and providing students the opportunity to create their own work, experiment with new ideas, and learn the craft of filmmaking.

This fundraising initiative begins at an important moment in the growth of the program. Early support helps provide the tools, resources, and experiences that students need to develop strong creative skills. Contributions fund production equipment and materials, support festival submissions so student films can reach wider audiences, and make it possible for students to attend screenings, conferences, and film related events that enrich their education.

Support also strengthens community-centered events that bring students, faculty, visiting filmmakers, and local creators together. Events like the Mini Movie Marathon support a growing film culture at UT Dallas by inviting filmmakers to campus and giving students opportunities to observe, engage, and connect with the artistic community around them.

Your contribution helps establish a lasting foundation for Film and Media Production at UT Dallas. It supports student creativity, encourages collaboration, and builds opportunities that will continue to grow year after year. Join us in building UT Dallas’s film community and help bring new stories and new voices to the screen!
