Help support the ATEC student community!

Hello, we’re the Animation Guild at the University of Texas at Dallas! We’re a student community breaking into the animation industry. We’re fundraising to support hosting large events, such as our industry career panel, Industry Insights and our semesterly animation challenge, Anim Jam. These events are integral to the Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communication (ATEC) student community and have been happening since 2019. Both of these major events provide real pipeline experience and connection to the industry that students are otherwise isolated from, providing an opportunity to access real industry feedback on their portfolios.

Additionally, it’s through these events that our animation community at UT Dallas can not only foster strong industry connections, but also craft portfolio and demo reels that will be viewed by professors, future employers, and the University dean. Reaching our fundraising goal of $500 will allow the Animation Guild to better accommodate our speakers and provide resources for the animation community at UT Dallas. When we reach our goal, we’ll be able to provide food for our speakers, student attendees, and our volunteers.

Currently, the Animation Guild has a stretch goal of $800. The additional funding will go towards merch sales for further fundraising, laying a foundation for the future of the Guild.
