It's almost the weekend and we want to say thank you! Thank you for giving, thank you for sharing, and thank you for your continuous support of the Comet Cupboard. Because of you we are directly impacting lives.

With the campaign in its last week, please do not stop talking about this initiative, please continue to share its message, and remember there is still a dollar for dollar match going on.

Share that just $10 can provide one meal for a hungry student for an entire week. That is HUGE--take a look at the impact the cupboard has had on one UTD student. It is because of people like you that we have stories to share like these.

“When I first got to UT Dallas, I had next to no money. I was waiting for my financial aid to come in, and I spend what little I had left on school supplies, while I was trying to get a job. The Comet Cupboard helped so much because I was able to focus on my school work and finding a job because I didn’t have to worry about feeding myself. That is really something I wish my last college had.”

Thanks to the generous donors of this initiative and Create Church for offering up a total of $5,000 in matching funds, the Comet Cupboard: Hunger Free at UTD campaign has been extended through Aug. 31.

Create Church has generously donated $2,500 in matching funds in order to help get the Comet Cupboard fully stocked and ready for the 2017 Fall Semester which begins on Monday, August 21. This is a 1:1 match, so every dollar donated will be doubled up to $2,500.
