Students Return from 2015 Cambridge Business & Economics Conference
We are thrilled to report that our backers have contributed $ 1,620 so far during our project. These donations will help students attend conferences at some of the most prestigious universities around the world.
Five students returned this week from the 2015 Cambridge Business & Economics Conference held at the University of Cambridge. These students spent two days presenting academic research alongside distinguished professors from around the world! Research included topics such as Corruption in the United States and China, Work-Life Balance in France and the United States, Blood Donation in the United States and China, and Ethical Differences of Countries using Hofestede’s Cultural Dimensions. With your help, more students will be able to attend conferences like this!
We are confident that we can achieve our goal in order to send our JSOM friends to Oxford University and other upcoming conferences.
Thanks to everyone who has donated so far, you are amazing!
New Stretch Goal $3,500
Due to the interest and generous support of our donors, we accomplished our initial goal in just 17 days! Thanks to everyone that made this happen!
Since we have reached our initial goal early, we decided to keep going with a new stretch goal of $3,500.
We need your help spreading the word on social media about the Comet Blazers. Please post on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or any other social platform and let your friends know how they can donate to this important cause for our fellow Comets!

Your tax-deductible gift to UT Dallas in support of our project will help remove some of the financial obstacles students face when attending prestigious research conferences across the globe.
Because of YOU we have met our stretch goal! Join us in using these final hours to encourage more people to make a donation. One-hundred percent of every dollar donated is going to benefit students.
A donation to our #cometblazers project will have a ripple effect extending beyond a student. It will benefit our campus, our community, and support the collaborative effort to make UT Dallas a tier-one research university.
