On behalf of the Executive MBA class of 2015 we want to thank all of the family, friends, classmates, and others who made donations to help us exceed our goal of establishing an endowment in Ben's name at UTD.  In an exciting development the Jindal School of Management's Dean Hasan Pirkul has announced that he will match all funds raised by the campaign bringing the total to $68,000!  As a class we are truly awestruck at the generosity of all of our donors and would once again like to express our gratitude to everyone that has helped honor Ben's legacy at UT Dallas. 

Next Steps: The endowment will be formally established and invested for 1 year before the first award. The Ruben ‘Ben’ Mesa Memorial Fellowship will be awarded in the fall of 2017 giving more than $2,000 to a deserving recipient.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of donors we have collected more than $24,000 toward our goal of $25,000. We will continue to take donations until the end of the year since the $25,000 is the minimum to establish a named scholarship, but there is no maximum. Every dollar given will allow us to increase the amount of the annual scholarship award. Please share with your friends and let’s keep this momentum going!
