Thank you to everyone who has given to our Dollar$ for Development campaign. Thanks to you all, the campaign has been gaining momentum and attention, but we still have a long way to go to reach our goal. Because it is such an important cause, we have extended our deadline to give through Nov. 15. Help us keep spreading the word about our fundraising goal to help students with their travel expenses to attend professional conferences or grants. Meet Naomi

Attending a conference or professional meeting can be an expensive endeavor that is not an option for students with limited resources.  Your contributions to the Dollar$ for Development Campaign, sponsored by the UT Dallas Office of Diversity and Community Engagement, can help a student from the Diversity Scholarship Program or the Academic Bridge Program land their first job or internship by helping defray the expensive travel costs associated with attending professional development conferences. Furthermore, your contributions play an important role in fostering a group of successful critical thinkers who learn how to pay it forward.
