#Comets2Cambridge Campaign Report
Thank you!
Our project concluded December 1st at 11p.m. We are excited to report that the #Comets2Cambridge campaign raised the most donations out of all 5 competing strategic management classes. We finished with $8,412 and this amount is generously being matched dollar for dollar by the Jindal School of Management’s Dean Pirkul!
With $16,824 raised we have well exceeded our original and stretch goal of $6,000 to fund travel expenses for 4 students! We are very excited to announce that your contributions will have an impact on many more students’ lives. The remainder of the funds will be used to cover registration fees and travel expenses for additional JSOM students accepted to present their research at international conferences including the 2016 Cambridge Business and Economics Conference.
None of this would have been possible without all of your generous donations. We are blown away by the amount of student body, family, friend and community support we received for the project. We cannot thank you enough for your contributions!
The 2016 Cambridge Business and Economics Conference will be held on July 1st and 2nd, 2016. We will be sending photos and details about the students who are selected to present their work, a week after the conference concludes.

We are happy to announce that we have passed our stretch goal ahead of schedule! We have raised $6,067, which is 101% of our stretch goal. All of your support has helped fully fund four students’ trips to present at the 2016 Cambridge Business & Economics Conference.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Because today is Thanksgiving, we wanted to give thanks once again to all of our wonderful donors! We have raised 94% of our new stretch goal because of their support. Our total of $5,647 is less than $400 shy of being able to fully fund 4 students. With only five days left, our project is coming to a close soon, but we still have more work to do.

Stretch Goal!
We are proud to announce that we have surpassed our initial goal of $4,500! The dean of the Jindal School of Management, Dr. Pirkul, has agreed to match our fundraising dollar for dollar. Because of his and all our other donors’ generous support, we have decided to implement a new stretch goal of $6,000 and extend our donation deadline to December 1, 2015. With the dean’s help, every donation has a larger impact and can make a bigger difference in students’ lives. When we reach our new goal, the dean’s match means a total of eight students will have their trip to Cambridge fully funded!

One Week Remaining, 78% of goal!
We have surpassed three-quarters of our campaign goal and want to send a BIG thank you to each one of our 75 donors who have enabled us reach the current total of $3,515 (78% of goal)!

A total of $1,435 has already been raised to help students attend the 2016 Cambridge Business & Economic Conference. This amount is just $65 under being able to fully sponsor one student to attend the conference and cover all expenses.
27 days remain in our fundraising drive and we need your help to spread the word about our project.
